Declaring one day in the year as “Appreciation Sunday.” To implement the challenge to all United Pentecostal Church of North America, based on the size of the church, the honoring of 10 – 50 individuals each year. In foresight, this is a tremendous milestone for the United Pentecostal Church organization.

This community program can potentially add several repeat visitors, new converts, and, ultimately, new members to churches. There might be churches currently engaged in some form of appreciation services; however, this proposal serves to unite the entire United Pentecostal church at large for maximum impact in one day.

Let’s consider 5,000 United Pentecostal Churches across North America, showing and embracing solidarity in honoring outstanding individuals of the communities. If each church, based on size, chooses between 10-50 honorees. This can result in 50,000 – 250,000 honorees in one day. Likewise, with 50,000 honorees attending the church services with families, friends, and colleagues, and if each honoree brought a minimum of 10 visitors,  this equates to half a million visitors attending a United Pentecostal Church in one day.

This unprecedented day of appreciation potentially exposes half a million people to the United Pentecostal Church and the apostolic message. Moreover, 5,000 United Pentecostal churches have the opportunity to engage their municipalities and citizens. Thereupon, granting each local assembly a pool of visitors to pursue and serve in the following areas: baby dedications, funerals, weddings, hospital visitations, and other personal/family needs. Consequently, 5 million people will be exposed to the United Pentecostal Church and the apostolic message over ten years.

Ideally, with a follow-up system in place, the church can teach more Bible studies, convert souls, add to the membership overtime and introduce other programs such as afterschool, daycare, and pantry programs.
